Temporary Club Hours:

Monday – Friday: 5 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

*Locker Rooms will remain open 30 minutes past closing time

Temporary Membership Hours: 

Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday: Closed

*Ascension Genesys Health Club reserves the right to close if cleaning, disinfecting, and/or personal protection equipment (PPE) cannot be obtained for any reason

Who IS allowed access to the club at this time:
  • All active members 13 years of age and older
  • Those that had an active Temporary/Medical Membership at the time of the club closure (see Membership Services to restart these memberships)
  • Parkinson’s Program participants
Who IS NOT allowed access to the club at this time:
  • Children under 13 years of age
  • Guests
  • Those with existing packages

*Short term memberships and packages will not be sold at this time

Face Mask Policy: In compliance with the state mandate (Executive Order No. 2020-176), face masks/covering MUST be worn at all times within the club, with the exception of swimming in the pool.

Club Capacity

In compliance with the state mandate, Ascension Genesys Health Club must limit capacity to 25% at this time (440 total members/employees). To assist with this effort we have a new check-in/check-out component called “Club Capacity Counter” which will help to ensure that Ascension Genesys Health Club is maintaining capacity guidelines at any given time.

Please be aware that the Capacity Counter takes into account our total club capacity of 440 members and employees allowed in the club at one time. If it states that we are at 17% capacity, that means we are at 17% of our 440 maximum allowed in the club at one time. (.17 x 440 = 74.8 members plus employees)

In order for the Club Capacity Counter to work, members will be required to scan in and scan out upon exiting the club.

The Club Capacity Counter will be located on our website. We encourage our members to save the Club Capacity Counter onto their smartphone (click here for instructions). In doing so, you will have easy access to check the club’s capacity at any time.

Covid-19 Code of Conduct

It is strongly recommended that individuals over the age of 65, and those individuals that are immunocompromised or have underlying health conditions, seek the advice of their healthcare professional before using the facility. 

  1. 1. Members will limit the amount of time in the club to what is necessary to complete their health and wellness goals.
  2. 2. Members must maintain at least 6 feet of physical distancing between staff and/or members outside your household at all times.
  3. 3. Face masks/covering MUST be worn at all times within the club, with the exception of swimming in the pool. This is subject to change per state mandates.
  4. 4. Members are required to clean equipment they come in contact with using club provided disinfecting wipes before and after each use.
  5. 5. Members are required to wash or sanitize their hands upon entering and as often as necessary while in the club.
  6. 6. Members are required to scan out prior to exiting the facility.
  7. 7. Members will adhere to all club rules and guidelines, along with all state and federal mandates.

Covid-19 Code of Conduct: I understand that use of Ascension Genesys Health Club during the COVID-19 outbreak may carry certain risks which I voluntarily assume. By scanning into the club, I am acknowledging that I and my family members (on my account) have read and will abide by the Ascension Genesys Health Club’s Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct could result in memberships being subject to consequences including suspension or termination at the discretion of management.

Keeping You Safe

Your safety is our top priority here at Ascension Genesys Health Club! To demonstrate that point, we would like to share with you the changes we have implemented to keep our facility clean and our members safe and healthy! 

  • Our cleaning program has been expanded to cover all hours of operation. Our staff will be stationed throughout the club, diligently disinfecting equipment, surfaces and high traffic areas.
  • We will be using EPA registered cleaner to effectively disinfect all contact surfaces on our equipment. Our Quat-Clean cleaner – EPA registration number is 1839-81-45133 – has been listed as effective (on the EPA website) against the virus that causes Covid-19,
  • We will also be using Victory Innovations Co. electrostatic sprayers to apply a quick and effective chemical application of Bru-Tabs – EPA registration number is 71847-6-106 – this is a hospital grade disinfectant that has been listed as effective against viruses
  • All high traffic touchpoints have 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰® 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 skins, made of safe, non-toxic material. Powered by lights, NanoSeptic® surfaces utilize mineral nano-crystals which create a powerful oxidation reaction.
  • Our staff will be required to wear face masks at all times within the club, with the exception of swimming in the pool. Our cleaning crew will be given proper PPE to protect themselves while working to keep our club clean.
  • We have closed down ½ of our cardio equipment to maintain the appropriate physical distance between machines/members.
  • We have reorganized our weight room floor to allow for more physical distance between machines.
  • Studio 1 & 2 to be open for Group Fitness classes. Studio 3 will be closed.
    • Larger Group Fitness classes may be held in other areas of the club to allow for physical distancing
    • Class registration will be required
    • Class size for Studios 1 and 2 will be a maximum of 15 people. Classes on the main gym floor will be maximum of 30 people.  
    • No sharing of equipment during class
    • All equipment to be disinfected after each class 
    • No hands-on adjustments, typical in Yoga, will occur during group fitness classes
  • Additional Purell wipe stations have been installed for member use. We ask that members use these disinfecting wipes to clean any equipment they come in contact with both before and after use.
  • In keeping with our state guidelines, we will be limiting our facility capacity.
  • We will require daily health screenings for all members and employees. 
  • Social distancing guidelines to be maintained throughout the club.
  • Face masks/covering MUST be worn at all times within the club, with the exception of swimming in the pool. This is subject to change per state mandates.
  • Floor markers in place in high traffic areas.
  • We will temporarily be closing the drinking fountains. Bottle refill will be available, however we advise members to bring water from home.
  • We will temporarily be closing various areas of our facility where informal and formal groups may occur.

Our plan requires team effort. Together we can keep one another safe and healthy! 

New Check-In & Check-Out Process

Check-In Process:

Arrive early, with your mask on. All members will be screened at the check-in tables set up in the main lobby prior to entering the club. Members that answer “yes” to any of the following questions, will be denied entry: 

    • Have you had any of the following signs/symptoms in the past 24 hours?
      • A fever > than 99.5 degrees?
      • New or changing cough?
      • Shortness of breath, not typical for you?
      • Diarrhea more frequent than usual?
      • Do you have a NEW loss of taste and/or smell?
      • Have you had a known exposure to COVID-19?

Members will need to verbally acknowledge Ascension Genesys Health Club’s Covid-19 Code of Conduct. Once acknowledged, a notation will be made on your account. Finally, you will use hand sanitizer then proceed to the Service Desk to scan in.

Check-Out Process: 

Members are required to scan out upon exiting the facility.
